The Captiva Island Fire District would like to congratulate Lieutenant Shawn Kilgore & Firefighter/ Paramedic Nick Miller on their achievement of 15 years with the department!  Shawn and Nick were two (2) of the first full-time firefighters hired in 2006 when the District started to make a transition from a mainly volunteer department to a full-time paid staff.  Both of these employees have been instrumental in progressing the District to what it has become today.  Congratulations Shawn and Nick, thank you for your service!
