LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County has declared a local State of Emergency due to Hurricane Ian.
Mandatory evacuations will be for Zone A, and parts of Zone B will also be evacuated. Officials urged to not put your trash out if you are in Zone A and partial Zone B.
Zone A is in the low lying areas, along the coastal area based on the surge models. The Zone B evacuation order applies to residents south of Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral, as well as residents who live in mobile and manufactured homes.
